Coffee Traders' Forum - A Discussion about Coffee Futures Trading

Demand, at least in the Cerrado, is indeed lackluster. Best bids, by far, come from growers that don't have enough coffee to fulfill their contracts. And there are lots of those. Lots of growers who locked god prices are offering to split the difference with anyone who has coffee to deliver.
One thing I've been thinking, though: consumers are pretty comfortable with their stocks and sourcing from other origins. Even then prices are holding up, there is no selling pressure whatsoever. Quite the contrary if you take the above at face value. What happens if, or when, the demand starts to pick up?
