And also do not forget the globalization of labor force, especially the low wage one.
In my country, there is a strong push of mainly Asian companies to allow more Vietnamese workers to legally come in to work here.
They seriously requested government to issue a special working visa for Vietnamese and others (Mongolians for example)
And there are hundreds of thousand of them here already.. only marginal number of them working in factories though.
And for the record I am not making a racist or xenophobe comment, it is just factual information.

Global business does not give a dime about cultural, language or other differences as long as the person can stand on the line and manually work for low wage long hours.
I think it is the next stage after factories migrated to cheap labor like China, now the cheap labor is being transported closer to factories instead.
In a sense it is a form of human trafficking and modern slavery, all in name of increasing prosperity or better say higher corporate profits..
