Cut costs, don´t produce so much. Producers can easily scale back on costs 30% while cutting production 15-20%--a worthwhile trade under current conditions of overproduction. No one likes to give money away.

Maximizing production is very costly. It is the way of diminishing returns. It is like pushing an airplane to fly as fast as it possibly can while burning 30% more fuel, when pulling back on the power saves a ton of fuel for a reasonable decrease in airspeed. Why is it so hard to understand that ? I see farmers spending left and right to have everything just right and then when it comes time to sell sad reality is that the money does not come back.
