Nagual, When you say not to trade every day, I believe you mean just coffee outright trading. If so, then you are correct. This current market does not warrant active trading. But when you factor in spreads, options, RC and other outside markets it is difficult not to trade every day. I think that it’s a mistake to judge the trading culture of others based on ones’s own trading culture, or one who thinks that they know better than others. There are traders of all kinds that are successful in their own rite. As an example, and as I have repeated, spreads have been more volatile than outrights. If one doesn’t trade spreads fine but those that do should not be criticized for it. I’m not saying that you’re style of trading is by any means wrong. If you want to trade and sit fine, but there are others with different parameters and practices that have worked very well. I’m a believer that malleability is essential to succeed as a trader. Discipline is also important but rigidity and the inability to adapt are grave shortcoming. If this market would increase in volatility my trading activity would also increase. It’s a natural.
