YIELD/Brazil Coffee Trouble Brewing ?

Bean oil my favorite. Corn is all about weather, YIELD and NAFTA. Wouldn't be surprised to see the Brazilian crop revised down by 10 MMTs in the next month or so. That is a lot and why I have been all over Alf about the coffee weather. The global corn balance sheet is tight. Small feed grain (oats, sorghum & barley) the tightest ever. Brazilian and Black Sea corn prices elevated. Unlike wheat, U.S. corn is cheap on the world stage. Wheat has been way over priced. In addition to the lack of competitive pricing, the improving U.S. N Plains drought has weighed on wheat. Beans are all about trade. If U.S. corn yields disappoint, corn is going up. If U.S. yields don't disappoint, a broad top is in the making. The soaring U.S. dollar is bearish for commodities and guarantees more Latin American acreage next year
